Netwealth

Netwealth is an online discretionary provider with financial planning tools to help investors. Customers can also access full financial advice. A very broad range of accounts is available and offered in pounds, dollars and euros. To get started investors choose their investment objective, account type and risk level. The app doesn’t help investors define their attitude to risk, but it sets out who each risk level is suitable for with examples of returns and full details of holdings.

Netwealth is all about networks. Once an investor has committed the minimum investment, they can invite up to 7 people to join their network. Joining the network drops the minimum investment to £5,000 and fees are charged on the total network portfolio amount, allowing everyone in the network to benefit.

What is Netwealth?

Netwealth is one of the new kids on the wealth management block. It combines traditional discretionary service, which is expensive, with a technology-driven, algorithmic approach to investment management. Investors can also access financial advice at a competitive price. The downside is that it has an eye-wateringly high minimum investment of £50,000.

Our review of Netwealth

Strong and appealing service. There are lots of little details that make this a very attractive offering for people who want to set up a smart investment strategy from the start and leave it to the experts to keep it on track. Not for modest investors.
