Vanguard
Vanguard is one of the largest fund management groups in the world and this is its direct-to-consumer platform. Vanguard is a standard bearer for low-cost investing and the platform is one of the cheapest platforms in the market.
It gives investors access to Vanguard funds only (no third-party products) via ISAs, JISAs, general investment accounts and pensions. Investors can choose from blended funds (the LifeStrategy and Target Retirement range), index and active funds.

Vanguard review
Well-respected and experienced, Vanguard is a solid choice. Their funds are among the most popular on the market (and even sold by their competitors), while the platform itself is professional and to-the-point.
Who is Vanguard suitable for?
Experienced investors will appreciate the depth of the research and the freedom to filter and play with the data. Beginners will appreciate the low-cost, ready-made portfolios on offer – which is handy because there isn’t much supporting material if you want to learn to do it yourself.
Our review of Vanguard
Overall, Vanguard isn’t looking to excite anyone but, if you want to take a slow and steady approach to investing, we think you’d be in good hands here.
